At stor.ree, wellbeing extends beyond scent.
We believe the products you bring into your home should care for your body and the planet. Sustainability is not an add-on to what we do - it’s built into every decision, every ingredient, every box we send out.

As a small, design-led brand, we are committed to making thoughtful choices that minimise environmental impact while elevating your everyday rituals.

Our Commitments

1. Clean, Responsible Ingredients

Our candles are crafted using:

  • 100% natural, biodegradable wax

  • Pure essential oils only - no synthetic fragrance oils

  • Non-toxic, clean-burn tested formulations

We do NOT use petroleum, paraffin, phthalates and chemical additives to ensure our candles support cleaner indoor air and gentler wellbeing.

Each candle is hand-poured in small batches in the UK to reduce waste and maintain consistency.

2. Plastic-Free, Eco-Conscious Packaging

Every stor.ree order is packed using materials chosen for minimal environmental impact:

  • FSC-certified and recyclable boxes

  • Biodegradable or recyclable protective materials

  • Recycled tissue paper

  • Water-based, plastic-free Kraft paper tape

  • Zero bubble wrap or plastic fillers

Your unboxing experience is intentional, beautiful, and kind to the earth. I mean, even our vessels are reusable and never need to be thrown away! 

3. Thoughtful Sourcing

We work with UK-based suppliers wherever possible to reduce transportation impact and support local craftsmanship. 

Our vessels are handmade by artisans, and our ingredients are chosen with strict attention to sustainability, ethics and quality.

4. Designed for Longevity

Our ceramic vessels are crafted to be kept, loved and reused long after the candle has finished - as mugs, storage pots, or simply as objects of beauty in your home.

Encouraging reuse is a core part of our sustainability ethos.

5. Low-Impact Delivery

We aim to minimise our carbon footprint through:

  • Local hand-delivery where possible

  • Consolidated dispatch days

  • Plastic-free shipping methods

As we grow, we are exploring even more ways to further reduce transportation impact - even our delivery van is electric!
